The scalpel consist of pre-assembled stainless steel surgical blade, which has been mounted on ABS plastic handle and has fluted finger grips. LDPE guard safely protects the blades. Disposable Sterile Scalpels are always packed individually in a peel-open paper or sometimes they are packed in a poly pouch packed in a box of ten scalpels.

As you can see, disposable sterile scalpels come in packages of 10 and are individually packed as sterile units. The scalpels enhance and supports safe passing protocols and procedures already practiced within hospital’s theatre and operating rooms.

Using Disposable Sterile Scalpels prevent or reduces incidences of injuries that might arise during the process of removing blades from re-usable handles. It also eliminates cases of occupational illness that can arise from cross infection, especially that of life threatening or highly infectious diseases such as Hepatitis B, C, HIV/AIDS just to mention but a few.

These diseases can be caused through injuries sustained during the process of removing scalpels from re-usable handles.
